Dr. James Lawrenzi, DO is the founder and medical director of AgeWell Vitality — a physician-owned telehealth practice dedicated to helping adults feel and function at their absolute best through evidence-informed, physician-supervised peptide therapy.
Dr. Lawrenzi earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2006 and completed his residency in Family Medicine in 2009. He went on to build and operate two successful outpatient clinics over the following six years, developing a deep understanding of what patients truly need — and what conventional medicine too often fails to provide.
Drawn by a calling to serve those who are often overlooked, Dr. Lawrenzi transitioned into geriatric medicine, spending years caring exclusively for elderly patients. It was in this work — witnessing firsthand the physical and cognitive decline that so many accepted as inevitable — that his conviction took shape: aging doesn't have to mean diminishment.
That conviction led him to the emerging science of peptide therapy. After extensive study of bioregulatory medicine and longevity research, Dr. Lawrenzi founded AgeWell Vitality to offer physician-guided peptide therapy programs to patients in Missouri and Kansas — combining the precision of modern longevity medicine with the whole-person philosophy at the heart of osteopathic training.
